When materials are cleaned and prepped properly they become ready to be disinfected. The objective of disinfecting is to remove harmful disease-causing microorganisms called pathogens, such as bacteria, virus or fungi. Our process combined with the use of specialized products accomplishes this goal.
- The disinfectant we use contains an Optimized Dynamic Chemistry (ODC) surfactant system that boosts cleaning performance while still achieving hospital level disinfection
- We utilize environmentally friendly chemicals and consider product ingredients when selecting what we use
- Products used can be applied in a variety of ways. They can be sprayed, wiped or foamed
- Appropriate exposure time is allocated to maximize each product’s effectiveness
- During our disinfecting phase, we focus on lifting and removing deeply embedded dirt, debris, stains and microorganisms from the affected materials
- Agitation is a necessary step to disinfect. We scrub all exposed materials with “toothbrush” sized nylon brushes to allow for maximum reach. This detailed process dislodges pathogens
- We include materials in areas that are difficult to access such as corners, cracks and underneath building studs
- We complete this unique process by using a combination of chemicals, a foaming application and the use of wet HEPA vacuums that pull the solution from all sides of the materials
- Processes and solution application are repeated until desired results are achieved
- As moisture is introduced to work areas, a portion of the structural drying process is included in this phase
- By performing these practices, associated materials are revitalized
- At the end of each workday all floors associated with access points outside of containments will be vacuumed to remove all dust and small debris particles
- Our certified technicians are trained to disinfect all types of loss resulting in a renewed property that is ready for rebuild
- A final phase inspection and applicable mold testing will be conducted to confirm that the postloss reconstruction can begin
