Many people, in hearing the word “demolition”, visualize the use of sledge hammers, major destruction and piles of debris and chaos. Our approach is precise, systematic and clean.
- In most cases, some demolition will be required to remove water, contaminants and damaged materials from your property
- We disassemble affected building materials by strict standards that promote dust-free manageable debris removal and consideration for the post-loss reconstruction process
- With our construction experience and knowledge of how structures are built, we deconstruct in a manner that minimizes damage or additional expense
- Correct debris removal is essential to eliminate cross contamination and to aid in the preservation of air quality throughout the property
- As materials are removed debris is bagged simultaneously, then taped the same way each time to allow for clean transport through unaffected areas
- Upon completion of demolition, technicians will perform a “rough clean” which includes: removal of all nails and screws from exposed studs and will verify and correct so that all cut materials have clean lines
- In preparation for setting drying equipment, all work zones are vacuumed with HEPA filtration and an antimicrobial solution is applied to all opened areas
- At the end of each workday all floors associated with access points outside of containments will be vacuumed to remove all dust and small debris particles
- A phase inspection will be conducted to confirm all affected building materials have been removed, containments are secure, exposed mechanicals are functioning correctly and all barriers have been eliminated that would compromise the structural drying process
